Accompanied by Sylvain, a qualified cycling instructor, set off for a day's cycling along EuroVelo 5, between Aire-sur-la-Lys and Saint-Omer. Starting from the Aire-sur-la-Lys marina, enjoy an accessible itinerary combining nature and heritage: crossing the Ballastières, passing along the canal, discovering the area around Saint-Omer station and stopping off at the Fontinettes boat lift for a self-guided tour. At lunchtime, you can opt for a convivial lunch at Les Bols du Marais, in a soothing setting at the Maison du Marais.

You'll learn how to check the essentials before riding (FRED method) and how to adjust your helmet properly. Through fun exercises, you can practise slaloms, changes of direction and direction finding, learn to ride without support and overcome small obstacles. You'll also discover different braking techniques, from progressive braking to emergency braking, while having fun with games like bike limbo.
